Time is running out to apply for a 2024 grant from Island Roads’ Isle of Wight Foundation. Each year, the foundation – made up of the partners behind Island Roads – issued grants of between £3,000 and £16,000 to charities and not-for-profit/community organisations working to tackle social exclusion. Since 2014, the foundation – comprising Island Roads, Meridiam, Vinci Concessions and Island Roads Services – has donated well over £800,000 to such projects. Those wishing to apply for grants this year have until noon on May 6 to get their application in. IW Foundation chairman Rob Gillespie said: “Once again, we have received some really interesting applications from some very worthy causes. “But we are keen to ensure every group who meets our criteria gets every chance to make their application so we are once again reminding the community that the deadline for this years’ grant call is approaching.” Applications should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post or by hand to Island Roads, St Christopher House, 42 Daish Way, Newport. Isle of Wight. PO30 5XJ. Further details are available from https://islandroads.com/iw-foundation/about-the-iw-foundation/
