Students across the Isle of Wight are celebrating success today (Thursday) as the Isle of Wight College releases GCSE resit results in English and Maths, marking a major milestone for those determined to improve their qualifications.
For many learners, this moment represents a turning point – unlocking new opportunities for further study, training, and employment.
Principal Ros Parker expressed her pride in the students’ accomplishments:
“November resit results are a powerful reminder that perseverance pays off. Many of our learners have balanced studies with work and family responsibilities, and their success today opens doors to future opportunities. Improving grades in English and Maths can be life-changing, and we are proud to support every student on that journey.”
The College offers tailored support for resit learners, including focused teaching, small group sessions, and access to additional resources.
Whether progressing to T Levels, vocational courses, apprenticeships, or employment, the Isle of Wight College is committed to helping learners achieve their ambitions.
