ISLE OF WIGHT CHARITY WALK IN AID OF ADULTS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

A 100-mile non-stop Isle of Wight charity walk in aid of John’s Club – for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues – is taking place tomorrow (Friday).  John’s Club provides vital services for adults in need. The club runs 2 football teams for those with learning disabilities. It also manages a hub to support people with learning disabilities and mental health issues. The club also has a community centre, which is organised by people with learning disabilities and mental health issues and has a chilli shop that provides training to support people who want to get into work, learn communication skills and gain retail experience. John’s Club gives those in need day trips and holidays on the mainland and abroad. All funds raised from this walk will go directly to fund the charity’s work. Anyone wishing to donate towards the charity walk may do so on the following gofundme page.
