Thousands of people are expected to descend on Robin Hill at the end of May for The Isle of Wight Balloon Festival, which is taking place between 28th-30th May 2022.
Previously known as Sky High, the annual event welcomed over 4,000 visitors a day to the park for a whole day of spectacular entertainment in a picturesque setting. The newly-named Isle of Wight Balloon Festival is expected to expand this even further for an even bigger event in 2022 with a fresh new look.
Industry specialists, Exclusive Ballooning, will join the Robin Hill team for an exciting weekend of balloon tethering, talks from award-winning, world-famous pilots and internationally-renowned night Glow performances produced by Andrew Holly.

During the event, Robin Hill’s downland valley and park will host a balloon extravaganza filled with hot air balloon tethering, behind-the-scenes talks with world-famous pilots and mass offsite launch attempts! Turn your gaze to the ballooning field as special shaped hot air balloons brighten the evening sky with bursts of colour and epic soundscapes, for the event’s finale spectacular, Night Glow, like you’ve never seen before.
