Ryde Harriers recently held 3 races – across January and February – as part of their Cross-Country Series.
The series sees runners compete over a muddy and challenging 10km course that runs from Smallbrook Stadium, across footpaths towards Harding Shute and West Ln, then a loop around the private land of Nunwell Estate, before returning the same way.
44 runners took part in the 3 races.
Race 1 was the Ryde Harriers Cross Country Championship: The 1st man was Gary Marshall (Ryde Harriers) in 0:43:49, 1st lady was Jenna Williams (Ryde Harriers) in 0:52:23.

Race 2 was the Isle of Wight Cross Country Championship: 1st man was Gary Marshall (Ryde Harriers) in 0:43:17, 1st lady was Jenna Williams (Ryde Harriers) in 0:53:09
Race 3 was the Arthur Biggs Handicap: 1st man was Loic Le Floch (Wight Tri), 1st lady was Alison Critchley (Ryde Harriers).
