Gritters are to be deployed across the Isle of Wight tonight (Saturday) as low temperatures continue to dominate the weather forecast.
The Island’s road network will be treated from 22:00 when the gritting fleet is mobilised from the Stag Lane depot.
Motorists should continue to drive with care, especially on rural and untreated roads.
The cold weather is expected to continue throughout the week, with more gritting likely to be required.
