Isle of Wight Scouts’ Corf Scout Campsite is opening its gates to the community on Saturday (2nd May), from 10:00 until 16:00.
There’s lots of activities on offer to try, including:
- Archery
- Boulder Wall
- Frisbee Golf
- Kayaking*
- Shooting
- Tomahawks
- Open Fire Cook
- Climbing.
Chair of Isle of Wight Scouts, Andy Hollebon, said:
“Our campsite and activity centre at Corf has so much to offer – and you don’t need to be a Scout. We positively encourage non-Scouts, as well as Scouts, to come along and have an enjoyable day out! All are welcome.”
Refreshments are also available. Parking is £5 per vehicle. Funds which go to support Scouts who venture abroad.
All activities will be dependent on availability of time and volunteers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Those in charge please request no dogs, other than support dogs, on the site.
*Water activities dependent on tide and conditions – swimwear and change of clothes required. No open toed shoes.
