Island Women ‘In Conversation’ will return to Cowes later this month following a successful debut event that attracted more than 70 attendees.
The 2nd instalment of the popular evening will take place at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes on Wednesday 22nd April, with organisers once again inviting women from across the Isle of Wight to attend.
The event follows the success of the first gathering in March, which founder Cheryl Buggy says proved both inspiring and uplifting.
“It was great to see over 70 women attend the first one,” says founder Cheryl Buggy.
“Hearing the fascinating stories of some of our amazing Island women was really uplifting and inspiring.”
Speaking at the next event will be Rosie Drake-Amery, who is passionate about sustainability in fashion, sisters Carrie and Rachel Almond, who have built a thriving wedding business, and Ellen Penstone-Smith, creator of the award-winning walled garden at Farringford, the former home of poet Alfred Lord Tennyson.
Money raised through ticket sales will be donated to local charities.
Tickets are priced at £9.50 and can be purchased via the Island Sailing Club events page.
