An Island mum has begun her fundraising journey after having her place in the 2025 London Marathon confirmed.
Danielle Barton was born and raised on the Island and currently works full-time at a local NHS Dental Surgery, she was successful in the ballot just last week.
As well as her day job, Dani will juggle training alongside looking after her 6 children. Dani will be running in aid of Wessex Cancer Support.
Wessex Cancer Support provides free, local and personalised emotional and wellbeing support to anyone affected by cancer in the Wessex area.
Hoping to raise around £2,000 for the cause, a fundraising page has been set up. Anyone wishing to donate to the page can do so here.
