Island magician Greg Chapman has decided to make magical history, in the form of a book about the history of the art of magic.
Greg, who regularly performs at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, has been performing magic professionally for over 16 years and has always had an interest in the tricks and magicians from the past.
Speaking on how he got into magic, Greg has said:
“I really started in professional magic when I saw a film about Harry Houdini, and decided to learn escapology. From then on I have read as many books on magic and the magicians of the past, and have always thought about sharing some of the fascinating stories in book form.
“It feels wonderful to have now written this book, and hope people find the stories as interesting as I do”.
Described as a book ‘written by a magician and magic fan’, the story of the history of magic is weaved in with Greg’s thoughts and sense of fun!
‘Greg and Felicity’s History of Magic’ is available to buy now from Amazon in both paperback and ebook editions.
