The Island Line train service between Ryde and Shanklin is disrupted this afternoon (Friday) due to a ‘problem’ at Sandown.
South Western Railway says that the issue is currently under investigation. In the meantime, the line is blocked.
Disruption is expected until 14:00.
Police have been seen to respond to the area of Lake in the past 15 minutes, but it is unclear if it is related to the network issue.

Quicker the new old ones get passed fit for island tracks the better. But I can see problem s with the track work for them, well at least the staff are having a good time.
