The Cowes-based activity and leisure specialist won the ‘Customer Service Award’ at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for Excellence 2014. The award, which was sponsored by Lloyds Bank Cardnet, recognises businesses that deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate dedication to the people using their services.
In2action also took home the prestigious ‘Business of the Year Award’, which is picked by the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce to recognise an island firm that has excelled in 2014.
George Ross, managing director at In2action, said:
“It’s such an honour to have won these awards, especially as we didn’t know we were in the running for Business of the Year. Not only that, but we pride ourselves on our customer service so it’s really rewarding to be recognised for that by the industry on the island.
“2014 has been an incredibly positive year for the company and winning the awards is a fantastic way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of In2action.”
The island business, which provides activity and childcare sessions to over 500,000 children in 30 countries, was also highly commended for the ‘Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Award’, sponsored by Red Funnel, and was a nominee for the ‘Professional and Business Services Award’, sponsored by Lucas Fettes.
Kevin Smith, CEO at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, said:
“In2action has proved this year that the company is excelling in all areas and we were proud to award them ‘Business of the Year’. The firm is a great example to others operating on the Isle of Wight and we can’t wait to see what they continue to do in 2015.”
