A new physiotherapy clinic has opened in Wootton, offering expert musculoskeletal care led by Chartered Physiotherapist Marie Brown.
Haven Physiotherapy, located on Brannon Way, is the creation of husband and wife team Marie and Tom Brown. The clinic provides a range of services including soft tissue and joint mobilisation, taping, post-operative care and tailored rehabilitation programmes.
Marie brings over 10 years of experience from both NHS and private healthcare settings. Having worked on the Isle of Wight as a First Contact Physiotherapist alongside GPs and allied health professionals, and holding leadership roles at Nuffield Health and Halsa Care Group, opening her own clinic was the natural next step.
Marie has said:
“Our goal is to create a welcoming and professional environment where patients feel truly listened to.
“We’re excited to help people get back to achieving their goals and feeling stronger.”
Initially, Haven Physiotherapy will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with plans to expand to full-time hours and weekend appointments soon. Remote consultations and home visits can also be arranged by pre-booking.
Tom Brown, Co-founder, added:
“Our family lives in Havenstreet – hence the name. Wootton was the perfect location; it has become a health hub on the Island. In addition to Wootton’s existing healthcare services there is now a physiotherapy clinic on the High Street.”
