W Hurst & Son staff members and friends will be cycling 60 miles around the Isle of Wight for the 2nd year running in order to raise funds for Home-Start Isle of Wight.
Last year, all participants completed the course and raised over £3000 and this year they are expecting to have more people taking part and have set a target of raising £5,000 for Home-Start Isle of Wight.
The ride will take place on 13th August and participants will be visiting each of the Hurst branches (for rest stops) on their way around the Island.
Currently, the Home-Start Isle of Wight mascot TED is sitting relaxing in their Ventnor branch window, getting ready for the charity cycle ride in August. The display has been put together by branch manager Dave. Keep a watch out for where TED will be and send them a picture of where you have spotted him.
They will have many events running up to the ride including their staff riding an exercise bike within all their branches and not forgetting special appearances from Nipper!
Every donation helps a fantastic cause and you can give to the cause on their Justgiving page.
