Large crowds gathered on Sandown Esplanade on Sunday for the annual Sandown Bay Regatta.
There was entertainment on show from the likes of David Randini, Horse Box Theatre Company, Wight Diamonds Marching Band and Joe Plumb, whilst DJs supplied the tunes on what was a sunny Sunday by the sea.
Organised for the 2nd year by Sandown Carnival Association, beach games got everyone involved as did the regatta hat parade and the tug-of-war contest. Pooches were also paraded in the regatta dog show.
Local wares, goods and produce were on sale in the regatta market before things came to a close at around 16:00.
Thankfully, the recent spell of bad weather broke to reveal a fairly sunny day, albeit with a bit of wind.

Did the Commodore/Condor ferry come in and sound its horn like it used to do. Always a great sight.
