UPDATED: Hovertravel have suspended their cross-Solent service this morning (Tuesday) due to adverse weather conditions that have moved in overnight.
High winds and choppy seas mean that no hovercraft are currently operating between Ryde and Southsea.
It is unknown how long the suspension will remain in force but an update is due at 08:45.
Wightlink’s Yarmouth to Lymington service has been suspended today and the 07:30 Fishbourne to Portsmouth car ferry is said to have been cancelled.
Red Funnel are operating to timetable.
UPDATE @ 09:04 – Hovertravel have now resumed a normal timetabled service.
