Hovertravel have been forced to suspend their Ryde-Southsea passenger service this morning (Friday) as a result of the adverse weather conditions.
Strong winds and turbulent seas mean the Flyer hovercraft are unable to run.
The cross-Solent operator says that an update will be provided at 10:45 this morning.
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain is currently in force, with strong winds expected to continue into tomorrow.
UPDATE @ 12:12 – Hovertravel say that services will resume at 12:45 from Ryde and 3:00 from Southsea.
