4 people have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following an assault on a 46-year-old man at an address in Love Lane, Cowes last night (Sunday).
Police have stood guard outside the property overnight and throughout this morning after officers were called to the terraced home at around 20:45. A man was found with head and facial injuries and a broken arm.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a 21-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Cowes, have been arrested alongside a 36-year-old woman, also from Cowes and a 16-year-old teenage boy from Sandown.
Evidence has been collected from the scene by forensic officers and detectives this lunchtime.
