Hillbans Pest Control, the Isle of Wight’s leading pest control provider, were recently invited to join Kevin Higgins of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) at PestEX, the industry’s premier event that took place at the Excel, London.
This exhibition and conference is the UK’s trade exhibition for the pest control industry and the largest get together for the pest management sector.
The event, which is led by the BPCA, is only held once every 2 years and sees thousands of delegates from across the UK and internationally attend. The bi-annual event is an opportunity for companies like Hillbans to meet with the industry’s leading players and see the latest in pest control techniques, products and technology.
As the Island’s only BPCA Accredited pest control company, Sandra Knowles, Managing Director of Hillbans Pest Control, sees the importance of attending this event…

Patrick Knowles, who heads up the pest control team of 4 technicians, accompanied Sandra and from the event brought back some of the very latest innovations. This includes humane rodent traps Goodnature, which will now be made available to customers across the Island.
In addition, the event gave both Sandra and Patrick the opportunity to meet key industry players and to attend technical seminars to hear from industry experts on topics including ‘Rodent Control Challenges’ and ‘Site specific pest risk assessment’, providing valuable insights that work to further enhance the Hillbans Pest Control Service.
