A special charity rave will be held at Newclose Cricket Ground in Blackwater this Saturday (23rd August) to raise vital funds for Heartbeat House in Southampton.
The event, named The Heartbeat Rave, runs from 17:00 until 23:00 and will feature live sets from DJs including T1, Woggles, Frizza, Kinell, JY and Doozy.
Entry is £10 on the door, with all proceeds going directly to the Heartbeat charity. The evening will be hosted by Wagon.
Heartbeat House, based in Southampton, provides accommodation and support for families of patients undergoing treatment at the Wessex Cardiac Centre. Run by volunteers, it gives relatives a place to stay close to their loved ones during some of the most challenging times.
The organiser of the fundraiser has spoken about why the cause is so important:
“My dad suffered 3 heart attacks and 2 strokes just 2 months ago, and the support Heartbeat House gave to the family and looked after us was incredible.
“It’s run by volunteers and really deserves any money that gets raised.”
The charity rave aims to raise awareness and funds to ensure Heartbeat House can continue its essential work supporting families in need.
