Gritters will once again be out treating the Island’s road network tonight (New Year’s Day).
The fleet of gritting vehicles will hit the roads from midnight due to the predicted freezing temperatures.
The past few days have been hazardous for motorists with a number of road traffic collisions taking place. This Citroen ended up in a field off the carriageway on the main Ventnor to Whitwell road overnight.
