A major wedding anniversary was celebrated at Orchard House in Newport before Christmas, as Mr and Mrs Peter and Helen Reffold celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.
The team at the home helped them celebrate together on 23rd December, marking the occasion and presenting them with a card signed by all staff, yellow roses and a special cake which they thoroughly appreciated.
That week, residents were also entertained by local talented tap dancer Maurice Kachuk.
Maurice danced to many well known Christmas songs and danced wonderfully, residents couldn’t help themselves but tap their hands and feet along to the music
Staff were also invited to dance along to the music and all had a thoroughly good time.
General Manager, Kim Fleming said:
