From country nights and Oasis tributes to Oktoberfest, 90s parties and Ibiza legends, GG’s at the Island Riding Centre has unveiled a busy schedule of live entertainment running from September through November.
The venue, which can host up to 500 guests in its large indoor arena, has grown in popularity as a live entertainment hotspot on the Isle of Wight.
Things kick off on Saturday 20th September with the return of Country Night. The evening will feature the Honky Tonk Angels performing as a 6-piece live band, supported by Honky Tonk Highway with DJ sets and line dancing lessons. On Saturday 27th September, the UK’s biggest Oasis tribute band, Definitely Oasis, will take to the stage alongside acoustic support act A Northern Soul. Fresh from performing warm-up shows at Murrayfield ahead of the Oasis tour, Definitely Oasis promises a high-energy night packed with classic hits. October begins with Big in the 90s on Friday 3rd October, headlined by Shane Lynch of Boyzone and Ben from Phats and Small. Shane will be spinning the decks while Ben performs hits from the 90s, making for a nostalgic night of club classics. The Island’s biggest Oktoberfest event will follow on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October, featuring the London Oompah Band, party games, a DJ and authentic German beers. Three specially brewed German beers will be on tap, and lively ‘beer wenches’ will lead the crowd in dancing and games throughout the night. Ibiza Legends – Wight Edition is scheduled for Saturday 18th October, with sets from Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine and local DJ Jakey Chan.
