A day of music, magic, and community spirit is promised at the Get On Stage Summer Fayre taking place at Newport CE Primary School this Sunday (17th August).
Organised by Get On Stage Youth Theatre – the newest youth theatre on the Isle of Wight – the event aims to celebrate more than just theatre, with a full line-up of entertainment and activities for all ages.
The day will begin with an outdoor disco complete with bubbles, followed by live performances from the Get On Stage Youth Theatre, their Summer School Programme, and the Methodist Ukulele Band. Visitors can enjoy a barbecue while soaking up the music.
Walkabout magic will be provided by Andie Penn Entertainment, and later in the day Stevo The Magician will take to the stage with a family-friendly performance.
There will also be games organised by the theatre group and a variety of stalls from local businesses, including Crafty Cowes, Farmer Ralph, and Wild Isle.
Entry to the event – which begins at 11:00 and ends at 15:00 – is free, with organisers encouraging the community to come along for an afternoon of food, music, and activities.
