Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) have ‘Get Active, Get Involved’ funds currently available for Island charities and community groups. HIWCF is an independent charitable foundation and the largest grantmaker to specialise in awarding grants across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It specialises in identifying and supporting under-represented communities and groups that tackle entrenched social problems, particularly in low socio-economic areas. Applications for grants can be made here. The offer closes on 27th February. There will be no further grant round available for the Island until April when the Isle of Wight Community Fund goes live. Advice on how to make a strong application for this grant from HIWCF Grants Manager, Joanne Davies can be found in the following 38-minute webinar.
