A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent after he allegedly punched another man in Sandown yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Shortly before 14:00, it was reported that a man in his 40s was punched by another man on Sandown High Street, near the junction with Albert Street.

The incident occurred in broad daylight in the middle of the annual IOW Scooter Rally Ride-out.
The injured male was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A 41-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detectives were called to the scene with the area taped off for a while whilst investigations took place.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that the arrested male remains in custody.
