Ability Dogs 4 Young People Isle of Wight – a local charity dedicated to supporting young people through specially trained assistance dogs – have scheduled the Isle of Wight Dog Show for this upcoming Sunday. The event will be held at the Abilitity Doigs Training Centre at Sandown Airport. Registration for the show starts at 12:00, with the show itself starting at 14:00. There is a suggested donation of £2.00 per dog per category. Dogs can be entered into a variety of categories. All funds raised will go to Ability Dogs 4 Young People. Catherine Eriksson of Ability Dogs 4 Young People Isle of Wight has said:
“This event is not just about the fun and competition; it’s about fostering community engagement, seeking support, and raising crucial funds. “We are witnessing a significant increase in young people in crisis on the Island and are reaching out to the Island community for support. “As a puppy parent and fundraiser for the Charity, I am seeing first-hand the incredible impact the assistance dogs have on the lives of young people in our community.”
