UPDATED: Forest Road in Newport has been closed this afternoon (Monday) as a result of a road traffic collision between 5 vehicles.
A total of 2 cars, 2 vans and a motorcyclist have been involved in the crash, which occurred just before 12:25. No one is believed to have been seriously injured.
A section of the busy Newport to West Wight road has been shut in both directions between Parkhurst Road and Gunville Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
UPDATE @ 14:48 – Forest Road has now re-opened to all traffic.
