A yellow weather warning for fog has been issued for the Isle of Wight tonight (Sunday), with foggy conditions expected to last well into tomorrow.
Forecasters IW Met Service says that mist and fog patches will develop quickly through the first half of the night, becoming widespread with some very dense patches locally.
Throughout the Monday morning’s rush hour it is expected that some very dense fog will develop in places and this will only very slowly disperse through the morning, potentially lingering in some parts into the afternoon.
The fog is expected to return towards tomorrow evening.
The warning comes into force at 20:00 tonight (Sunday) and continues until 13:00 on Monday.
Red Funnel are advising that they anticipate disruption to both their Red Jet and vehicle ferry services between 04:00 and 09:00.

Wonders if there’s been a fog somewhere in Newport High Street for years lol.
Just as soon as Ferry service time table improves then down comes the fog.
