UPDATED: The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are attending a fire in a shop in Freshwater this evening (Friday).
At shortly before 16:20 fire crews were alerted to the incident at a commercial property on School Green Road.
2 appliances are now attending and the road has been cordoned off.
UPDATE @ 18:00 – The incident has been brought to a close.
No one is thought to have been injured and the damage has been kept to a minimum.
