The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are tackling a grass fire measuring 50x80m off Lynch Lane in Brighstone this evening (Wednesday).
2 fire appliances, plus a water carrier from Freshwater, are currently in attendance near the junction with Upper Lane having been alerted to the incident at around 17:00.
The cause of the blaze, which has broke out in a field, is currently unknown.
It is thought the fire is under control.
