A fire in amongst woodland in Gurnard has been extinguished by firefighters from Cowes this afternoon (Friday).
1 appliance was mobilised at 15:31 to reports of a fire near to Gurnard Pines.
Retained firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, which affected an area measuring 15m x 10m.
2 whole tanks of water were used to dowse the flames and damp down the area.
