UPDATED: Firefighters are assisting the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service at a property in Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday).
A rapid response paramedic, an ambulance crew and a second ambulance response vehicle are all currently in attendance at a flat in School Street off St John’s Hill, alongside an appliance from nearby Ryde Fire Station.
It is understood the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are assisting paramedics with a casualty at the address.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 14:40.
UPDATE @ 16:00 – 1 person has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital under blues lights.
All emergency crews have now left the scene.
