Over £1,600 has been raised for charity thanks to Bellissima and Sugar & Spice Lingerie following another successful fashion show showcasing Spring and Summer fashions. Over 140 people attended the event at Ryde Castle to raise money for Daisy Chains – the Isle of Wight Children’s Charity. The charity supports premature babies and children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Funding goes towards cross-solent travel and accommodation, along with equipment and therapy. The audience was treated to an Absolutely Fabulous opening routine along with compering and entertainment from Short N Sweet Duo and around 100 outfits comprising Summer casual and best dress clothing, lingerie, swimwear and nightwear. Mandy and Kellie from Daisy Chains have said:
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Tina and Sheila from the two shops for supporting us with their fashion show. It was a fantastic event which raised a huge £1696 for us. The funds will be used to help many island families with children needing support”.
Sheila from Sugar and Spice said:
“Yet again we sold out of tickets. We are so grateful to all our lovely customers that attend and raise money at this event”.
Tina from Bellissima added:
“We have helped several island charities over the past few years, raising thousands of pounds. We have already started planning for autumn”.
