Islanders are being invited to explore Ventnor Cascade Gardens with artist Ian Whitmore on a vertical art workshop.
To celebrate the built heritage and natural landscapes of the East Wight area, Wild About Wight have commissioned a group of local Island artists to deliver a programme of workshops and events running until Spring 2019.
On Friday 23rd November, travel from base to peak, loosely capturing the flora, rockwork and surrounding architecture from various vantage points (materials provided), before heading to Ventnor Exchange to add extra detail and warm up.
Meet at the base of the Gardens on the Eastern Esplanade (bottom of Shore Hill), Ventnor at 15:30 (event runs until 18:00).
This is a free arts workshop but booking is essential as places are limited. For adults and children 12 years and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
