A 3 vehicle road traffic collision has blocked Middle Road this morning (Thursday).
Emergency service crews were called to the scene between Betty Haunt Lane and Elm Lane just after 07:00.
Whilst it is unclear as to how serious the crash is, Island Echo understands that those involved were able to walk away from the wreckage.
Middle Road/Calbourne Road is currently blocked between Betty Haunt Lane and Elm Lane.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have been approached for a statement.
UPDATE @ 09:00 – Police have confirmed that they were called at 06:51 to reports of a 2-car collision.
No injuries were reported by those involved and the road is now clear.
