UPDATED: Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision on Ashey Road on the outskirts of Ryde this evening (Friday).
The incident, which involves 2 cars, has occurred near the junction with East Ashey Lane.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash at just before 18:20.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
UPDATE @ 19:30 – A 24-year-old woman has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, however her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road is being cleared and is expected to reopen shortly.
