Firefighters from Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin were mobilised to a property in Seaview early this morning (Tuesday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to reports of a potential property fire in the village at around 05:00, resulting in 3 retained appliances being sent to the scene.
On arrival of the first fire engine, from Ryde, it was discovered an electrical fault was the cause of the alarm.
The other appliances were stood down en-route.

Wow, a town ‘with’ electricity. Clearly more affluent and with no need to ‘grow’. Cocaine is the chosen fix, and unlikely to be locally produced, hence no power issues.
Let’s hope they don’t share the same supply as nearby Bullen and Pennyfeather, or they will ‘go down’ with the ship as these are built, filled to capacity and with no work, growing will be a main income source.
Watch, and learn.
