A thunderstorm that moved up from the South late last night (Wednesday) was captured on camera by Island Echo readers.
Avid photographers took to the coast to watch the storm light up the night sky with impressive forks of lightning.
A yellow weather warning was in force for the Island, but locally we escaped the worst of the weather as the storm split to the East and West.
