More than 40 people gathered for a lively afternoon over the Bank Holiday weekend as this year’s East Cowes Carnival Royalty was selected
The Royalty Selection event, held in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, saw friends, families and supporters come together to cheer on a talented group of young participants.
Each entrant demonstrated confidence, personality and pride, making the judges’ decision a difficult one.
After deliberation, organisers have confirmed the successful candidates who will represent East Cowes Carnival over the coming year.
- Senior Queen – Lily
- Junior Queen – Danielle
- Senior Princesses – Abby and Demi
- Junior Princesses – Ayia and Brooklyn
- Reserves – Emily and Hannah
- Team Members – Brooke and Paige
- Flag Bearer – Harley
All those selected will take on ambassadorial roles, attending events, supporting the local community and representing East Cowes Carnival across the Isle of Wight.
Organisers have praised every participant who took part in the selection, highlighting the high standard and enthusiasm shown throughout the afternoon. They say the event showcased the strong sense of community and talent within East Cowes.
Thanks have been extended to the East Cowes Liberal Club for hosting the event, as well as to DJ Mike Harris, volunteers, judges and all those who supported the afternoon.
Residents are now being encouraged to save the date for this year’s East Cowes Carnival, which is set to take place on 22nd August. Organisers say it promises to be a day of celebration for the whole community.
