Early-bird tickets for the Island’s annual fantasy trade and comic convention – Fan TC Con – have been released for sale. Mountbatten has this week been announced as charity partner for the 2024 event, which takes place at Medina Leisure Centre, on 19th October. A celebration of all things pop culture, Doctor Who and Emmerdale star Frazer Hines is the 1st star to be confirmed on the 2024 bill. More will follow. Now in its 4th year, Fan TC Con features a long list of celebrity guests, Q and A sessions, retro gaming, activities and much more. In 2023, around 650 people descended on Medina Leisure Centre for a day of fantasy and fun. Fan TC Con Director Adam Pearson has said:
“We’re really excited for 2024’s event, and we’re thrilled to be teaming up with our wonderful charity partner, Mountbatten – a cause close to everyone’s hearts. “Our event has been growing year on year and we can’t wait to announce the full lineup for 2024, it’s going to be a good ‘un.”
Earlybird tickets will be available from fantccon.net and tickets will go on general sale from 8th January.
