DUO OF ISLAND CARE HOMES TO HOST EXCITING COMMUNITY EVENTS IN THE COMING WEEKS

Hartford Care is inviting the local community to 2 events at its Highfield and Springfield Nursing Homes on the Isle of Wight in the coming weeks. To celebrate Easter, Highfield Nursing Home on Queens Road in Ryde has partnered with students from Ryde School with Upper Chine, while Springfield Nursing Home on Arthurs Hill, Shanklin, has joined forces with Year 5 children from Gatten & Lake Primary School. Pupils visited the homes last week to help residents decorate Easter crafts, which will form part of a special festival trail and have been hidden near to each home. For those lucky enough to spot a hidden Easter decoration, take it to either Highfield or Springfield Nursing Home to collect a prize by Monday 1st April. On Thursday 4th April, both homes will be treated to a performance from Showaddywaddy’s Billy Shannon. He will be at Springfield Nursing home at 11:30 and Highfield Nursing Home at 14:00, and everyone is invited to come along to watch the show.
