The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, is set to carry out a series of official engagements on the Isle of Wight next month.
4 visits are planned across Newport, Ventnor and Brading on Thursday 16th April – less than 3 weeks’ time.
His Royal Highness will be visiting Quay Arts in Newport, a well-known hub for arts and culture on the Isle of Wight.
He is also due to travel to Ventnor Exchange, a venue that supports creative industries and community initiatives.
The Duke will also visit Brading Youth and Community Centre on High Street in Brading, where local youth and community activities are based, as well as Brading Roman Villa in his capacity as Patron.
The Duke of Edinburgh has undertaken a number of visits across the Isle of Wight in recent years in support of community organisations and charitable initiatives.

Let’s get the union jacks ready
Lol
A day trip to the mainland for me on the 16th.
It’s not a Union Jack, it’s a Union Flag, it is only called a Union Jack when it is flown at sea.
Poor duke is in for a shock when he sees the state of the island
And of cause the time it’s going to take him to get from A to B
Why?
He doesn’t have to pay ferry fares..
