DRUGS AND CASH SEIZED IN EARLY MORNING RAIDS BY POLICE IN NEWPORT

An investigation into the supply of drugs on the Isle of Wight led to 2 properties being raided in Newport early this morning (Monday). Officers conducted warrants at addresses on Hunnyhill and Berry Close, Pan at around 07:00. It has been confirmed that some cannabis and cash were seized by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary as a result of these dawn raids. No arrests have been made in connection with either of these warrants at this time. The investigation continues. Police have been asked to comment on why an ambulance was required at Berry Close.
