Islanders are being invited along to a number of drop-in events to help plan for the future of arts, heritage, culture and creativity on the Isle of Wight.
The Island Collection has released an early draft of a Cultural Strategy which will help develop the benefits of culture and creativity for communities on the Island.
To assist in the delivery of this strategy, The Island Collection is asking for feedback and input from Island organisations and residents in order to create the final version of this plan.
Individuals and organisations are invited to read the document and provide feedback on the vision and goals identified and the proposed contents of the strategy. This work-in-progress document is available at https://islandcollection.org.uk/towards-a-new-isle-of-wight-cultural-strategy/. You can download the PDF directly at https://islandcollection.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Version-2.5-IW-Cultural-Strategy-Draft-February-2023.pdf.
Public drop-in events are being held at West Wight Sports and Community Centre today (Wednesday) between 10:30-16:00 and at Quay Arts in Newport, between 10:30-16:00, on 10th March.
