Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club (SSRC) achieved a double gold at the Welsh Coastal Championships, part of the Home Nation series, earlier this month.
Bass Andre, first gained a superb victory in the single sculling endurance event, winning with an emphatic margin, and later doubled up with Frances Katirewa to notch up the second Gold of the championship for the club.
The athletes currently travel all over Great Britain in order to compete, notching up points for the Home Nation series.
Leading by example both Bass and Frances, inspire the Beach Sprints squad at Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club, now one of only twelve coastal sculling academies in the country, to aim high.
