The first Vectis Radio Community Awards are being held on 31st March, but the window of opportunity to enter closes on Friday 27th January.
The awards are to honour, celebrate and promote the great work that community and charity organisations do on the Isle of Wight.
Entries are free and are being invited from any Island-based community or charity organisation and there are various categories including nominating individuals who have stood out in fundraising or as a volunteer.
Event organiser Maggie Currie said:
“I’m happy to say that we have received a lot of entries for our first-ever event of this nature, but I would hate to think that some organisations miss out on a chance to win an accolade because they were too late to enter. Please get your entries in now. Our panel of independent judges is eagerly awaiting the entries.”
Entries can be made by going to www.vectisradio.com and clicking on the link at the top of the home page.
Entries need to be in by midnight on Friday 27th January.
