Rathbones Kear has issued an urgent recall notice on several of its packs of crumpets due to fears they may contain small pieces of metal. The recall was issued on Thursday evening as a precautionary measure with Islanders warned by the Food Standard Agency (FSA) that some packs may contain small pieces of metal, making them unsafe to eat. The affected products are:

I suppose we can deduce from this that Morrison’s crumpets are made by Hovis?
Obviously the same production line, same ingredients etc. It does make you wonder why people by the named brands?
