Receive a community alarm and pendant to simply press when you need help. Wightcare’s response centre team will then get in touch with your emergency contact. If a Wightcare mobile responder is required, a callout charge will be applied.

- Monitoring, Response and Telecare
Receive a community alarm and pendant to simply press when you need help as well as more technology that will trigger alarms when you may need assistance. This may include GPS locators, a falls sensor, a chair or bed occupancy sensor, a medication reminder and dispenser or many others based on an assessment of your needs. If an alarm is triggered, Wightcare’s response centre team will arrange the appropriate support, whether that is our mobile responders, emergency services or your emergency contact. Includes unlimited callouts by Wightcare mobile responders.
- Telecheck
Receive regular welfare calls tailored to suit your needs from Wightcare’s warm, friendly and experienced team in Newport.
- Supply and Installation of a Key Safe
A key safe can be included in the installation of your Wightcare equipment to provide a secure and discreet way for the Wightcare response team or your emergency contact to gain access to help you whenever it’s needed. You can also purchase one individually for just £30 including installation.
Wightcare can even create bespoke technical solutions to match your specific needs.
Wightcare’s customer survey results showed that 98.3% said having Wightcare gave them more confidence, made them more independent in their home and made their loved ones feel reassured.

What was it the IoW Council said…?
Oh yes, a £300,000 ‘’subsidy’ from Council coffers (sorry, Council Tax Payers money!).
Perhaps, if ANYONE who worked in the Council (and this is NOT Councillors), but the actual people employed by the Council ACTUALLY did some work AND we’re accountable for their inefficient actions, we MIGHT get some value for money for our EXORBITANT Council Tac charges!!!
In my experience, local councils are all as bad as one another. Local government is a shambles in the UK, full of jobsworths, overpaid managers with few management skills but lots of “entitlement”, underpaid staff – terribly wasteful on all sorts of levels.
