UPDATED: Motorists should anticipate delays in and out of East Cowes this afternoon (Friday) following a road traffic collision involving up to 4 vehicles.
The shunt, which is thought to involve 3 cars and a van, has taken place outside Priory School at Whippingham.
Emergency services have been alerted to the incident, but no one is thought to have been seriously injured.
UPDATE @ 16:28 – Traffic is reported to be heavy in the area, backing up to East Cowes town.
Southern Vectis are advising of 15 minute delays to Route 4 and 5 buses.
UPDATE @ 17:30 – The incident has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
No one has been injured in the incident.
